In the hopes of getting some deals done before the deadline, Arsenal have been reported to be on a roadblock in signing a second loan deal before the transfer finally closes shut.
Not long ago the Gunners officially confirmed the loan signing of Denis Suarez from La Liga giants Barcelona, but head coach Unai Emery wants one more signing to strengthen up his team.
The North London club have tried but failed to reach an agreement for Yannick Carrasco and Ivan Perisic which has proven to be trouble for the Arsenal manager, who wants a player up the flank to compete with the Iwobi and Mkhitaryan.
According to reports emerging from London Evening Standard, Arsenal are currently negotiating on a deal for Paris Saint-Germain star Christopher Nkunku which is also being cloudy.
The French club, as per report, will only be able to free Nkunku way to Arsenal if a replacement comes around, having had just their offer rejected by Everton for Idrissa Gueye.
With the closure of the January transfer ever near now, Unai Emery might just have to look elsewhere to strengthen up his team with Emile Smith Rowe joining RB Leipzig in a short term loan.
