Arsenal may has secured a 3-2 Premier League win over Cardiff City yesterday afternoon, but Petr Cech’s performance at goal for Arsenal was brought under question once again, and former Arsenal (legend) player Ray Parlour has suggested the Gunners new boss Unai Emery should think about dropping the former Chelsea goalie in favour of Bernd Leno, if Cech can’t stop his poor performances between the sticks.
Nothing but Cech’s shot-stopping abilities have seen him as one of the greatest goalkeeper in the Premier League history, but he has find it hard to keep the ball at his feet this season, and his error yesterday in which he nearly gifted Cardiff City midfielder Harry Arter a goal as he lost the ball when trying to play out of the back, only for Arter’s shot to flew over the bar.
Parlour, however, during his chat on talkSPORT has suggested that Emery has to drop the goalkeeper if he’s not going to improve his distribution from the back.
"You can't keep playing out from the back if the 'keeper isn't happy!"

“The mistakes he’s made against [Manchester] City and again yesterday (against Cardiff) he made a really bad mistake in the seventh minute, and Harry Arter should’ve done better in front of goal.”
“If he keeps playing like this Cech, and making mistakes…but you can’t keep playing out from the back if the ‘keeper isn’t happy!”
Turning his attentions to Leno, Parlour added:
“I’ve not seen a lot of him. I saw a little bit of him in pre-season in training, but they were just working on normal shot-stopping, so whether he’s good at it we will have to wait and see.”
