PICTURE: Arsenal target arrives club for medicals ahead of £50m move



Brazilian midfielder Fred has reportedly arrived Manchester United's AON Training Complex in Carrington ahead of his transfer to the Premier League club.

Fred, who has been targeted by Arsenal and Manchester City, is set to become the Red Devils first signing of the summer as Jose Mourinho looks to strengthen his midfield, which will be left depleted by the retirement of Michael Carrick and the exit of Marouane Fellaini this summer.

The Brazil international has played for Ukranian side Shakhtar Donetsk since 2013 and has seen the net with 14 goals in 156 appearances for the club. Fred has been capped 8 times for the Brazilian national team and is named as part of their World Cup squad for this summer's tournament in Russia.

Fred move to Manchester United is likely to be confirmed by the club this week and the reported fee is believed to in the region of £50m.

It still leaves Arsenal with no move for any player yet. But have been linked with different players from different league.
