Wenger preparing to lock horns with Conte over £30m winger, (Perfect Replacement for Sanchez)

Bayer Leverkusen youngster Leon Bailey is making rounds brilliantly, as reports claim Arsenal and Chelsea are both interested in signing him.

There's no denying that Bailey has enjoyed a stellar season to this point with the Bundesliga outfit, netting eight goals and providing four assists across 16 appearances as he flourishes on the left wing.

The young-winger can also play on the opposite flank, but the Jamaican international has certainly looked a top prospect in his more natural role and his form this year has led to huge interest from the Premier League.

According to the Daily Express, the Gunners and the Blues are ready for a transfer battle to land his signature in a deal that could cost the two side a whooping £30m.

While it's noted that the Blues have been interested on the youngster for some time, the Gunners have seemingly stepped their interest up in more recent times having been to scout Bailey as recently as last week.

It's obvious as to why both the Premier League sides would want to sign him, with Chelsea struggling with quality and depth this season and Bailey could certainly offer the two sides a great alternative to the likes of Eden Hazard, Pedro and Willian in the wide attacking options.

Arsenal on the other side, it's surely the time we stopped showing faith in the likes of Theo Walcott and Alex Iwobi, though Iwobi is still young but he continues to struggle to make a strong impact in the senior side.

With threat of losing Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil looming at the end of the season, new signings could be needed and so Bailey could be a long-term upgrade and a top talent to add to the squad as he's not only proven he can make an impact now, but he’ll surely only develop further with playing time and faith from a top manager.
