Jurgen Klopp To Annoy Arsenal Fans By HIJACKING Arsenal's bid for £90m-rated, Wenger Frustrated

Liverpool are set to renew interest in signing Thomas Lemar and believe the £90m-rated France international favours a move to Anfield over Arsenal, according to the Independent.

Lemar developed in to one of the most in-demand players in Europe during the summer after he scored 14 goals in 17 Ligue 1 matches which helped his side to title winning last season.

Lemar was strongly linked with a move to both Arsenal and Liverpool during the ending stages of the transfer window and the Ligue 1 side vice-president Vadim Vasilyev confirmed back in October that it was Arsenal who came very close to signing Lemar in the summer.

Arsene Wenger is expected to go back in the race for Lemar as he looks to find a replacement for Sanchez who's set to leave the Emirates Stadium after failing to agree terms over a new contract with the Gunners.

However, Arsenal will once again face strong competition from Liverpool as the Independent claim Jurgen Klopp is also looking to renew his interest in signing Lemar when the window reopens in two weeks time.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss is also in the market for an attacking midfielder as Barcelona continue their pursuit of Philippe Coutinho and it seem Lemar is the prime target for Liverpool as Coutinho replacement.
