Arsenal ready to agree a whooping £30million siging of Chelsea star

Arsene Wenger appears to be considering a transfer move for one of his Premier League rivals' out-of-favour players according to reports on Monday.

The North London club are currently battling for a top four spot after an extremely poor start to the 2016/17 season so far.

With the Gunners leaking an excessive amount of goals, especially away from home, the Frenchman has been urged to dip into the transfer market for some sort of solution.

And according to an exclusive report by The Express, Arsenal are actually looking to make a stunning move for Chelsea defender David Luiz in January.

The 30-year-old former Paris Saint-Germain star has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge in recent months with Antonio Conte willing to field a different centre-back partnership.

Therefore, the FA Cup holders are reportedly keen on taking advantage of the situation by making an offer for Luiz which would be worth £30million.

Arsenal move to sign the Brazil international would come as a surprise for many Gunners supporters, two years after the club did business with Chelsea as Petr Cech joined the Emirates outfit.
