£80million on cards for Arsenal target [ Thomas Lemar ]

Liverpool were interested in signing France international and Monaco star Thomas Lemar in the summer transfer who was widely speculated to be joining Arsenal same summer but the left winger eventually stayed with the Ligue 1 giants.

If reports making rounds are anything to go by then Liverpool are back again for the Les Bleus playmaker and are prepared to sign him in the winter transfer window.

According to French outlet L'Equipe, the Reds made an offer worth 90 million euros [£80million] in the summer transfer window and now, they are ready to splash the amount to secure the signature of the player.

The French outlet have mentioned that Liverpool are already preparing for the exit of Philippe Coutinho and Liverpool are ready to move in with an offer worth a whooping 90 million euros to get Lemar to replace the Brazilian star.

It is also mentioned according to L'Equipe that the Gunners are interested in signing him in January as well.

On the other hand, The Telegraph claim that Chelsea are prepared to beat Liverpool and Arsenal to the signing of the £80million rated left-winger. So this could be an intriguing three way battle in January between Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Lemar was in superb form for Monaco last season which saw them winning the title but this season, so far, Lemar has only scored one goal and provided three assists in 15 appearances for Monaco.
