4-2-3-1: How Arsenal Could Line up against Newcastle United [Alexandre Lacazette on Bench]

In our last 3 Premier League fixtures, we have only earned 2 points. We were sitting fourth on the Premier League table not so long ago, but now find ourselves in seventh place (below Spurs).

Up next, Arsenal will collide against newly promoted side Newcastle United and will be looking to return to winning ways.

As fas as the squad news is concerned, Aaron Ramsey has a hamstring injury and Germany star Shkodran Mustafi has a thigh muscle strain per PhsioRoom, so we should expect the duo to be out of the squad vs the Magpies.
In the absence of the former Sevilla defender, Monreal should partner Laurent Koscielny in the central defense. Kolasinac will then return to action in the left back position.

As far as the midfield is concerned, Mohamed Elneny should the chance to replace Jack Wilshere in the center of the park.

We should also expect the likes of Iwobi, Alexis, and Mesut Ozil retaining their starting lineups. Olivier Giroud was only to return to goal for Arsenal on Sunday while Alexandre Lacazette was completely effortless. So we should expect Giroud getting the nod ahead of his compatriot in the starting eleven against Rafael Benitez's side on Saturday.

Below is the strongest possible 4-2-3-1 XI vs Newcastle.
