Arsenal set to sanction £110,000-a-week deal for Alexis Sanchez replacement

Arsenal may sell star playmaker Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez in the upcoming transfer window and the duo must be replaced by quality stars.

As far as the Chile international is concerned, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has already identified his replacement.

According to an exclusive report from The Sun, the French boss is prepared to let Sanchez leave and ready to launch a 35 million pounds move to secure the services of Ivory Coast international and Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha.

Zaha was brilliant for the Eagles in the last campaign. The 25-year-old scored 7 goals and provided 11 assists in 34 league appearances.

He was linked with a move away from Palace in the summer but eventually signed a new five year contract that now earns him around £110,000-a-week, according to the Guardian.

This season, the Ivorian star has mainly been on the treatment table. So far, in 5 Premier League matches, Zaha has scored 2 goals.

As per the British tabloid, Wenger has also scouted Porto star Yacine Brahimi but Zaha is preferred because he is a proven Premier League player.
