£100million transfer on cards: Alexis Sanchez to get another tempting offer to leave Arsenal

Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez could become a transfer target for Real Madrid this January if they miss out on the signing of Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi.

The Sun recently mentioned that Chelsea and Real Madrid are interested in the £100million-rated attacker, who has been impressive in Serie A this season with 13 goals in 13 matches.

Icardi looks like he could be a great one at Real, and Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim that Argentinian is firmly on Madrid's plans for this winter though Sanchez could be a decent coup for the club.

Sanchez is due to be out contract in the summer, with latest speculation from the Daily Mirror claiming PSG are emerging as favourites to sign the Chilean as a possible replacement for Neymar.

The Mirror had previously stated that Man City would be Sanchez's most likely destination on a free transfer next summer, but a move to the Bernabeu could be another tempting offer the Chilean.

He is not currently playing in the Champions League with the Gunners, and a player such as Sanchez will no doubt feel he should be playing at the top level.

Sanchez could be given a a key role in the Los Blancos' misfiring attack, with both Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema looking safe in their roles at present after slow starts to the season.

The La Liga champions, however, have been dominant in the Champions League in recent season, winning three out of their last four matches and Sanchez would certainly boost own chances of tasting European glory were he to move to the Spanish capital.
